  1. What is LemonStand?

    LemonStand is a complete eCommerce platform. It's built using PHP, MySQL, AJAX and other technology standards.

  2. How is LemonStand different?

    It's main selling point is allowing total flexibility to web developers and designers. Aside from that it's easy for anyone to use, seo optimized and performance optimized. LemonStand can also be extended to allow almost any functionality.

  3. What are the system requirements?

    You can find an updated list of system requirements here. If you're unsure if your host complies, please ask your tech support.

  4. Where can I host a LemonStand website?

    Any web host that meets the system requirements should work. You can find some recommended hosting services on the partners page.

  5. How much does LemonStand cost?

  6. Can I try it out for free?

    Yes! Get a Trial license for free. It's great for evaluating the platform.

  7. Can I see examples of LemonStand powered stores?

  8. Where do I download LemonStand from?

    When ordering a Trial or Commercial license, you will receive a download link along with your serial number via email. You can also download the installer here.
    Note: This is only the installer. During installation, the latest files are downloaded from our servers. The installer is the same, regardless of license type.

  1. Can LemonStand do (insert cool function here)?

    LemonStand can do almost anything, if you're willing to develop custom modules for it. It can do a whole lot without modules too. There's a feature list that should help. And you can try a demo and get a free Trial license to furtther learn what it's capable of.

  2. Will LemonStand ever have ____ feature?

    If you cannot find what you're looking for in the feature list it's possible we're working on that feature. You can contact us to find out.

  3. What payment gateways does LemonStand support?

Licensing

  1. How many websites can I use a commercial license for?

    Exactly 1. One license = one website. You are permitted to use the same license for the test environment (e.g. http://test.yourstore.com) and live environment (e.g. http://yourstore.com) for the same LemonStand site.

  2. What's the difference between a Trial license and a Commercial license?

    There's not very much difference. The free Trial is a full featured version of LemonStand that you can use to evaluate the platform.

    According to the terms, a website using a Trial license cannot be in production and accepting orders of any kind. Trial licenses are meant for evaluation and development, only. 

    When a Trial license is used, the system is limited to having 10 active orders at any given time. 

  3. How does upgrading work?

    We allow you to upgrade a Trial license to a commercial license. Your serial number will not change during an upgrade. To upgrade, log into your account, click on the Trial license that you want to upgrade, and use the payment buttons at the bottom to pay for the upgrade.

    To make these changes take affect in your LemonStand installation, log into your Admin Area, go to System > Modules & Updates then click Check for Updates, and finally, click the Force Update button.

    Note: Please ensure you upgrade the correct Trial license. You can do this by making sure the License Key shown in your account matches the License Key found on the System > Modules & Updates page.

  1. How do I get support?

    You should first check our Documentation to see if your question is already answered there. Next, try searching and asking on our community forums. If you still cannot find an answer, submit a support ticket.

    We only provide official support via support tickets at this time. We do not offer technical support by telephone.

  2. Does LemonStand provide installation services?

    Yes, for 5 support credits we will install your copy of LemonStand on your web host. Please open a support ticket if you require this.
